Kenn Perry Workshop

Addison @ Tabb Models Way back in March, I took a workshop from the seriously talented photographer Kenn Perry. To be honest, after my initial buzz of excitement wore off and I had to get back to headshots, I pretty much forgot about this set. It wasn’t until last weekend (when I needed to pull a photo) that I plugged in my hard drive and revisited it. Out of sight, out of mind as they say. When I was 12, I became obsessed with the modelling industry and spent way too much time on forums stalking new photos of my favorites models (hello Gemma Ward!). My obsession later moved to fashion blogs and that’s when I really started to notice photography. I took a class my senior year of high school and was pretty much hooked. While my path has naturally led me to head shots, fashion photography will always be something I admire the most and hopefully something I can dip into more in the future.  That’s why this photo is so exciting for me to share, because I’m so darn proud of it and how much progress I’ve made. Since I’m moving to France in less than a month to study abroad for a semester, I’m scrounging my money and haven’t purchased anything to set up a studio… but you better believe that will be my first purchase when I return!
